Giving Back

Here are just a few of the ways Embodied Health has reached out to community:

  • Class Pass Donation Program: Since 2012, Embodied Health's class pass donation program recycles the unused value of expired class passes by creating and donating new class passes to local non-profit or social justice organizations, to be used for staff self-care. Past recipients include Take Action Minnesota and Family Tree Clinic.
  • Silent Auction Donations: Embodied Health has donated many gift certificates to various organizations for silent auction / fundraising purposes. Past organizational donation recipients include: Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation; Take Action Minnesota; Twin Cities Women's Choir; Children's Home Society & Family Services; Second Debut; and Individual Fundraisers.
  • Community Yoga:Embodied Health has brought yoga to the community at several organizational health fairs and at community events, including Open Streets Saint Paul's inaugural year (2013) and a community yoga performance at the Green Line Opening Day (2014).
  • Food Drives and School Supply Drives: From 2008-2010, Embodied Health organized food drives and school supply drives with donations directed to Keystone Community Services, a human services organization serving families in St. Paul.

Community Providers

When making recommendations to other providers, Embodied Health considers how the provider's values and knowledge of intersectional social issues will impact the work they offer.  Within those considerations, here are two health care providers that are an excellent complement to the services we provide at Embodied Health.
