Bring Lucinda Pepper to your organization to present or offer a workshop, half-day or multi-day training for your staff! Lucinda has been facilitating groups to learn since 2005.  All of the trainings and presentations Lucinda offers are reflective of an intersectional, trauma-informed, social-change motivated approach to healing and wellness.

  • Workshops are a great way to deepen your self care skills, to learn about your body, and to build community- come join us!
  • All workshops require pre-registration, and if there is a charge for the workshop, pre-payment to reserve your place.
  • Unless specified otherwise, there are no refunds for a workshop.  You may give your registration to somebody else who will participate in your place.
  • A minimum number of participants are required for each workshop to take place.  If a workshop is cancelled due to low registration, there will be some advance notice.  In case of cancellation due to low registration, pre-paid workshop fees are transferable to other workshops/services or refunded.


Yoga & Writing: Delving Into Practice

Discover how yoga can ground, enrich and free up your writing practice.

Whatever your level of yoga or writing experience, this half-day retreat will support, relax and invigorate you. You'll experience how yoga and writing come together to create something greater.

  • Explore and free up physical and emotional barriers to writing.
  • Connect to your inner voice.
  • Develop a fresh approach to craft.
  • Align your writing with the beautiful and complex layers of your body-mind-heart-breath-spirit.

Yoga will support your creative journey. Come as you are, and leave with more options for your yoga and writing practices!

The leaders of the retreat: Lucinda, a yoga teacher and healer with a longtime writing practice, and Naomi, a poet, teaching artist and therapist with a longtime yoga practice, are excited to work together to create a space where you can deepen and open up your writing life as you explore the layers of yoga.

Giving Back

Embodied Health Gives Back To Our Community!

  • Class Pass Donation Program: Since 2012, Embodied Health's class pass donation program recycles the unused value of expired class passes by creating and donating new class passes to local non-profit or social justice organizations, to be used for staff self-care. Past recipients include Take Action Minnesota and Family Tree Clinic.
  • Silent Auction Donations: Embodied Health has donated many gift certificates to various organizations for silent auction / fundraising purposes. Past organizational donation recipients include: Saint Paul Public Schools Foundation; Take Action Minnesota; Twin Cities Women's Choir; Children's Home Society & Family Services; Second Debut; and Individual Fundraisers.
  • Community Yoga:Embodied Health has brought yoga to the community at several organizational health fairs and at community events, including Open Streets Saint Paul's inaugural year (2013) and a community yoga performance at the Green Line Opening Day (2014).
  • Food Drives and School Supply Drives: From 2008-2010, Embodied Health organized food drives and school supply drives with donations directed to Keystone Community Services, a human services organization serving families in St. Paul.

When making recommendations to other providers, Embodied Health considers how the provider's values and knowledge of intersectional social issues will impact the work they offer.  Within those considerations, here are two health care providers that are an excellent complement to the services we provide at Embodied Health.
